Relationships & Astrology in 2024!!
If we imagine the planetary energies in the skies as a live orchestra, 2024 brings some distinctive new tunes, based on notes that were briefly introduced in 2023. (Pluto re-enters Aquarius from Jan. 20th to Sept. 1). 2024 will end with a final hurrah to some intense music we have been listening to since 2008! (Pluto moves back into Capricorn from Sept. 1 – Nov. 19th for the last time in our lifetime.)
Meanwhile, April will bring a burst of new music, with unexpected surprises (Jupiter/Uranus conjunction in Taurus) and by May, the notes become lighter, faster and higher. (Jupiter goes into Gemini).
Translating the above into how it might impact your relationships, lets start by looking back at any new seeds you planted between March 23rd and June 11th 2023, when Pluto initially dipped it’s toes in Aquarius. Were there any internal and/or external changes in your relationship dynamics with partners, family members, friends, colleagues etc.? Did your desires, hopes, dreams, needs, wants…change? From Jan. 20th these seeds will start to grow and we will get a stronger sense of how these new relationship dynamics may look like for each of us.
Aquarian themes that are likely to come to the fore include:
* A desire to find likeminded connections
* A greater need for individual space
* Searching for your tribe, based on ideas rather than blood ties
* Placing a stronger value on friendships
* Creating communities based on common interests
* Increased diversity and a move away from traditional binary definitions of gender and relationships…
April brings the potential for exciting and expansive surprises in relationship dynamics, with the Jupiter/Uranus conjunction offering a potential reset of our values and desires. Soon after, Jupiter moving into Gemini encourages and expands communication and friendships.
We all know that the less baggage we bring into new relationships from previous relationships, the greater the potential for the new connection. Pluto moving back into Capricorn from early Sept. to mid Nov., for the last time in any of our lifetimes, offers us the opportunity to clear out any remaining outdated, limiting structures in our life, including relationship structures. This may require some inner work or it may simply require us to ‘let go’…
Meanwhile the Nodes continue to travel through the Aries/Libra axis of ‘self’ and ‘self and other’. The compromise (Libra), required in all relationships, cannot occur without a strong sense of self identity (Aries). Without it, the fear of losing oneself is too great. This theme is highlighted in the two Eclipse Seasons of 2024. March 25th is the Full Moon Lunar Eclipse at 5 Lib 7, and on April 8th, there will be a New Moon Solar Eclipse at 19 Aries 24. September 17th brings a Full Moon Lunar Eclipse at 25 Pisces 41, and October 2nd, brings a New Moon Solar Eclipse at 10 Libra 04. These eclipses will impact you more directly if you have planets or angles close to the eclipse degrees.
