Venus in Leo, July 11, 2024

Venus entered Leo yesterday. This entry marks a significant shift in interpersonal dynamics, bringing to the surface a more vibrant and expressive energy. During this phase, we will tend to value spontaneity and authenticity in interactions and express ourselves in a warmer and more passionate way. Throughout this transit, it will be natural to risk showing our preferences and desires more openly, with grand gestures. We'll be seeking validation and recognition to boost our self-esteem. And this is where some challenges may arise, as we might not always get the reaction or attention we expect. On the other hand, excessive focus on seeking validation can foster self-centeredness, creating friction.
This entry of Venus in Leo is simultaneously marked by an opposition to Pluto and a trine to Neptune, which will last until July 17, promoting a climate of confrontational intensity along with openness and acceptance that can be an excellent recipe for transforming patterns. From the 17th until the end of the month, Venus forms a series of very fluid aspects: a trine to the Lunar North Node (on the 20th), a sextile to Jupiter (on the 21st), and a trine to Chiron (on the 30th). As we move into August, Venus squares Uranus, ending its journey through Leo with a more rebellious and nonconformist vibe, encouraging us to step out of our comfort zone and try new paths.
