Kindling the Light - Venus in Sagittarius 2021

Venus enters Sagittarius on October 7th, beginning a stay that will continue until November 5th. That’s a little longer than usual, as the Goddess of Love is slowing down - not much at this point, but a little - to retrograde in December.

In Sagittarius, Venus is expansive and outgoing. It’s a great placement for parties, travel, and exploration. Unlike her recent time in Scorpio, Venus isn’t necessarily looking for commitment and security in the sign of the archer. She want’s to expand her romantic horizons, and perhaps you should consider following her lead.

Among the connections Venus will make during her stay are easy sextiles to Saturn and Jupiter in Aquarius. This suggests that we may connect with others through social gatherings and group activities. That could be a boozy brunch, but might also be the meeting of a political group or organization. It’s certainly an indication that we should participate in group activities that support our interests and passions (you may want to check out our relationship astrology course!).

Venus will also square Neptune, an aspect that can get us to wear rose-colored glasses when it comes to someone special. It can help us to let go and fall in love, but can also get us to feel that a situation is hopeless (although that’s not likely with the goddess in upbeat Sagittarius).

On Halloween, Venus meet up with partnership asteroid Juno. Juno is Jupiter’s wife, and is happy in his home sign. The end of October represents a time when we what we want and what we have can be on the same page (if not exactly the same).

Allow openness and flexibility in your relationships, get out and socialize, and you’ll be making the most of Venus in Sagittarius.
