As if the recent solar eclipse and current retrograde Mercury weren’t enough, here’s Mars now conjoined to Saturn at 14 degrees Pisces.

The solar eclipse in Aries puts our relationships in a spotlight. We become aware of the ways in which we don’t feel free or if we feel alone.

Venus entered Aries today, inviting more action and dynamism in interpersonal relationships.

Mercury is slowing down now, as it approaches its station on Monday to go retrograde until 25th April.

As Mars embodies the archetype of the warrior, in Pisces we can think of a Tai Chi fighter, poetic in movement, fluid, and subtle. It's the peaceful warrior, the soldier for peace.

Happy Spring Equinox Everyone! The Sun is now in Aries and the tide has well and truly turned towards spring for those of us in the northern hemisphere.

On this celebration of Love day, the invitation from the planetary realms is to dive into the depths of our heart, and remember that we are all equal.

On 21st April (UT), there will be an exact conjunction of Jupiter and Uranus at 21 degrees Taurus – the current Jupiter-Uranus cycle, which began in 2011, is reaching its close.

With the Sun illuminating Pluto at the anaretic, last degree and seconds of Capricorn, for the last time in our lifetime, big changes are afoot!

If we imagine the planetary energies in the skies as a live orchestra, 2024 brings some distinctive new tunes, based on notes that were briefly introduced in 2023.

Although Capricorn is not particularly a relationship sign, Aquarius is a step further removed from relationships, so it will be interesting to notice subtle and not so subtle changes, in our relationships with family, friends, work colleagues and community groups.

Mars dove into the deep waters of oceanic Pisces on April 14th, swimming towards his home sign of Aries, which he’ll reach on May 24th. Along the way, he’ll meet with Neptune and make easy connections to Uranus in Taurus and Pluto in Capricorn. Venus and Jupiter will both leave the Pisces before Mars gets a chance to meet with them.

Venus entered Pisces on April 5th, beginning a monthlong stay (until May 2nd). The sign of the fish is Venus’ exaltation, and her focus is on universal love and compassion. While personal connections aren’t out of the question, we’re looking at the bigger picture.

Mars enters Capricorn on January 24th, 2022, beginning a six week stay, until March 7th. The Cosmic Warrior is generally happy in Saturn’s home sign - he likes to have a task to keep him busy. It’s a good placement for folks that have things to accomplish as we begin the year.

As we reach the end of 2021, it’s a great time to re-assess our relationship with ourselves, and with the people in our life – family, friends, work colleagues, community, locality…particularly with Venus Retrograde! This includes taking into account any revelations about our relationships, that may have come to light during, or just before, or after, the final exact Saturn/Uranus square on Dec. 24th.

Holidays inevitably trigger past experiences of prior holidays – all the way back to childhood…Creating some alone time amidst the hustle and bustle, gives you time to process and separate the present from the past, and for your Moon to sit with whatever emotions are surfacing.

Venus enters Capricorn on November 5, 2021, beginning an extended stay - through March 6 of 2022. During her time in Saturn’s sign, she’ll retrograde for 40 days - more on that as we approach it. For now, we’ll note that Venus will begin to slow down in her movement as we get deeper into November, and that she crossed into the shadow of her retrograde on November 18th.
